No More Snow

The rain melted all the snow, but it's still really cold, as evidenced by the dove all puffed up against the cold. The little dove stayed there for about two hours today. I think that it's almost colder when the rain chills the air than when it's snowing. Tomorrow, however, we're expecting snow, so the woodlands in the second picture will probably be covered with snow by tomorrow night.

The little dove is all puffed up against the cold. He rested here by the shrub in the front of my house for about two hours. His little friend is hidden behind him.

The snow has melted from the woodland area, but the water is still somewhat frozen. Coyotes live here, and I can hear them howling at night.

  1. Thanks for the invite, Jon Lee. Now I see the deer that you were talking about last week. Even though they appear tame, I still don't think I'd want to get that close to them!

Love your old pictures. Where do you find them?

  3. Hi Jon Lee ~
Your little creasures are so adorable all puffed up out there. I worry about our little outside animals when it's cold and snowy! I hop you enjoy your snow. It's suppose to snow and ice here on Thursday! Hope your week is happy and blessed!
